Instrumentations for Surface chemistry and Surface Science
The Company has been created in 1988 by Jean-Theodore Busson. It is based at Romans sur Isère, Drôme. The aim of the company is to develop, manufactures and sell equipment for physico-chemist laboratories.
At the beginning, the company had developped an instrument for the determination of the free water or AW. Then 1993, the Digidrop - contact angle meter - was created by GBX for the studies of wettability and interfacial tension.
The GBX Product range includes
Digidrop Goniometer:Four types of Digidrop are available
this model is very modular and can be upgraded easily in few minutes. No need to send back the unit. All modules can be exchanged very easily. Dedicated for Universities and Research center.
Viscodrop : HT Viscosimeter for the containerless determination of viscosity, contact angle and surface tension of liquids
The determination of the viscosity and surface tension of liquidus is possible from 600°C up to 2000°C either under inert atmosphere or under vacuum down to 10-6mBar.
